Aromatherapy & Mindfulness. Interview with Matsuyama-san

In preparing for my Aromatherapy and Mindfulness Masterclass earlier this year, I had the honour and privilege of interviewing  highly-esteemed Rev. Daiko Matsuyama: deputy head priest at Taizo-in Zen Buddhist Temple in Kyoto, Japan. In the interview, we spoke about the benefits of a meditation practice and how it can be incorporated into our daily lives. Mindfulness practices have definitely helped me deal with the stresses of the ongoing lockdowns and travel restrictions.

Meditation practices with essential oils can help reveal the oil's more subtle nature, and can be used either for a more focused concentration or open monitoring style meditation.

The Aromatherapy and Mindfulness Masterclass is now available online.

I would like to share with you the short interview with Matsuyama-san.

Which essential oil is your to go for oil in your daily mediation?

At the moment I am so enjoying the subtle woody scent of hinoki wood.
